I highly recommend the book Too Good To Leave, Too Bad To Stay. It's written by a therapist that has worked with many people that have divorced over the years, and she outlines various reasons for divorce, and whether or not people are happy after divorce with those reasons used. It's a great read.
Funny you bring up star wars, because George Lucas was heavily inspired by Dune (and lifted quite a bit), and Frank Herbert hated that. Frank went as far as making up a derogatory term for in-universe luddites, he termed "C3-PO's". I think he wrote that into chapterhouse or heretics of dune, can't recall witch one.
I don't know about the difference between "alimony" and "maintenance" but I have found calculators online that state for Minnesota alimony is paid only if the annual wages have a disparity greater than 40%.

Although I know inheritance is not a marital inheritance, she will eventually inherit a large sum of money. Likely greater than a million. I won’t have that and will need to plan for my own retirement.
Amazon Fabric Cover for the win! I will say I haven't had the Amazon leather cover, but I have tried an off-brad faux leather cover and switched to the fabric. It cleans well, has good grip/softness ratio, and except for the edge where you open it it's pretty durable.

Long story short when the arm gets tired, I don't have a hard enough grip, leading to failure -> injury. I didn't follow Pavel's advice in S&S to "not do extra grip work", in my case the rowing.
We were able to work it out on our own, it was under $400, and less than 15’minutes on zoom with the judge. We had kids and a house and a partridge in a pear tree. We get along great now too, because we don’t have to be married to each other anymore. If you can sort it out on your own then it’s quick and fairly cheap, unfortunately not everyone has that luxury.

Looks like the paperwhite has that so then it comes down to whether or not you want the paperwhite to have automatically adjusting backlight and the option of wireless charging. I never thought of getting the kids one but what the heck, why not?! I do get kids meals at the fast food joints just to limit my fast food calories when I take my kids.

Trade-in deals change over time (I traded in my previous kindle for the oasis and got straight $60 off). A few months ago when they were still selling the oasis it was $75 GC + 20% off according to another post. I'm skeptical too, and I will say a Tesla partnership announced today may not be perceived the same as a tesla partnership if it had been announced 3 years ago. Tesla is not selling as well as they used to. Partnerships with any of the big 3 is very much needed to get the investor class looking in my opinion.
