Told you. It was always going to be a simple update. The graphics and FPS were the only major things. People expected some kind of Cyberpunk 2.0 and predictably were let down. And now they’re blaming Bethesda for not making all their hopes and dreams into reality with the update.
Honestly the expectations are on Bethesda for announcing this two years ago, giving no info, delaying and then seemingly developing it after a month's work.
How forced is the settlement building? I've tried to get into F4 a few times but I just can't get past the settlement/crafting intros, I start to feel overwhelmed lol
Did something happen to her face? She used to be prettier, I think. She doesn't look old now, though, just a bit off. Has anyone else noticed this? Also, her neck looks wicked long in that photo.
People on here defending the student's hyperlib vocabulary in defense of the foundation of their argument are missing the point: this type of language is repellent to anyone outside that specific group and will not persuade anyone to the cause, no matter how correct their underlying statements are.
I'm almost positive the only time Swerve being a black man was even brought up was during his celebration, and even then it was more about his achievement than a company patting itself on the back.
I also think that home invasion during the Darby/Sting feud where he bloodied up Nick Wayne is where he first started getting traction. Hangman definitely solidified that momentum though.
When she loses I hope she shows up at the scrum still. Like Tony says they're going to have the women's world champion and then she comes out oblivious to the fact that she lost. Her going full Norma Desmond is fun
JR was great tonight, both the matches he called were right up his alley. Although it would have been nice to hear him call the ladder match just for the Perry spot
Dont forget, Cash is due in court for a trial management conference on Tuesday 5/14 and has his actual court date on 5/20 for his aggravated assault felony charge from last year.
Dave getting worked by obvious story beats is my favorite development of the past year. AEW/WWE just seem to be leaking him kayfabe (like the Perry stuff) and he takes it as a scoop lol
It's hard to parse American culture from "Western culture" and America still, for better and worse and America still is far and away got the most significant cultural exports.
As culture becomes more fragmented by people seeking out niches, the base of the "main" culture plummets because it's defined by the rubes who are too lazy or dumb to explore special interests.
I agree, but I think it would be really interesting for them to play against their 'types' - Teller as Jesus and Garfield as Judas (especially since they're both very capable actors)
For me its two fold, yes we are back from the pandemic, but we are also back to before a time when it felt like the only movies that came out and mattered in the cultural conversation were superhero movies.
Of course there isn't. Are there people that really don't understand how things like that work? Liv didn't actually throw Rhea into the wall. Rhea threw herself in the wall. She just did it too hard.

If the Elite are now taking over, AEW will have a kayfabe authority figure(s) for the first time. Interesting times.
Inb4 that kayfabe authority is Kenny Omega next week, that will give him something to do until the surgery.
Psych! It's Jericho!

Oh cry me a river
Excellent episode tonight. No idea how this Tony Khan angle will play out lol
AV club had great writers and an absolutely amazing commenting community. The latter might have been the best thing about it.
AV Club comments had the funniest username (and photoshopped avatar) I've ever seen: AyatollahColmMeaney

Not forced at all
I mean there are quests that require you to basically do the settlement tutorial, but you just have to place some stuff iirc.
Exactly. You can basically abandon settlement building after that.

Redditor discovers aging.

90+% of Hindus living in the West aren't very religious
Then why not pursue Catholics, too?

Yes I thought it was very well done. Also recognizing it was Stephon Smith's first PPV main event and leaving it simply as that, was tastefully done.

She's Norma Desmond now. I think once she loses she's going full Baby Jane Hudson. Her makeup tonight was already trending in that direction.
JR was great tonight, both the matches he called were right up his alley. Although it would have been nice to hear him call the ladder match just for the Perry spot
Aww sonofabitch!
Goddamn JR is killing it tonight
Glad the crowd is hot but these are some of the most soy chants I've ever heard

Watching wrestling as a smark sounds so fun
I feel like Dave is being worked, first of all - like no way Max gets that mic time at a ppv without being pre-approved given his antecedents.

There's something incredibly Gen X about this I can't explain why
The effort.
And then I logged off.
They're still BCG, it's still what they use during entrances and on the official marketing. BBG is just an informal title I think
I've been saying for weeks it's a soft rebranding. When their new theme dropped, it's attributed to the "Bang Bang Gang," not BCG.
ok but that dead Nazi lady's tits are spectacular
Japanese WWII propaganda lookin ass
Did he say BBL Joey??
Bowens could be aassive babyface. I hope he gets a singles run in the near future.
I really hope we get a Juice Robinson return at Dynasty to clinch the win
He may have reviewed it when he guested on the Doughboys Tombstone episode?
Yes I believe they all had them for the Doughboys record.
I agree, but I think it would be really interesting for them to play against their 'types' - Teller as Jesus and Garfield as Judas (especially since they're both very capable actors)
Garfield as so good at portraying interiority. I actually think seeing him portray Judas would be more interesting.
For me its two fold, yes we are back from the pandemic, but we are also back to before a time when it felt like the only movies that came out and mattered in the cultural conversation were superhero movies.
I always assumed it was related to this rather than the pandemic.
