  1. That doesn't make you a bad TA, just a regular human. Being a bad TA would be if you didn't admit your mistake and let the students continue to think the wrong information because shame/ego wouldn't let you admit it. Students need to see that saying 'I don't know' or 'I was wrong, let's figure out the right answer' is normal and without shame, and they especially need to see this from folks in positions of power like TA grads and faculty. We are in fact here at Cornell to learn, not because we know everything already. Growth mindset ftw.

  2. Senior year is a hard season. Give yourself some grace - you are not the only one in this position. Covid threw things off socially for a lot of people. Take it one day at a time.

  3. I think he wanted it to be her but ultimately didn’t really know and was trying to convince himself it was her.

  4. Yeah the parallelism here is what I love best. Logan simply sends his children a box of donuts, and they are literally all too scared to touch one.

  5. Shiv saying it's going to be her at the Pierce dinner. I had to look away that was so ugly.

  6. Same!! I have to physically look away lol

  7. Colin does so much with so little in every scene. Fucking phenomenal in his role

  8. I’ve got a few in mind. It’s a toss up between The White Lotus, The Sopranos, Ramy, and Twin Peaks.

  9. To be honest my plan after Succession ends is to rewatch it all for the 4th time.

  10. Just wait until rewatch 10. That’s the best.

  11. For sure. In seasons 1 & 2, felt like Frank was one of the only characters who treated Kendall like an actual person.

  12. I think that this is right on the money. I also think that the comments arguing this point are a testament to how good the writing is. Some people see it this way, other people see it another way, and neither are really right or wrong. The fact that there's debate at all shows that there's so much nuance to these characters. We knew who Walt was towards the end of Breaking Bad, but whether Jimmy/Kim is inherently good or inherently bad is still discussed because there's strong evidence for both, honestly. I love it.

  13. LOVE this take and perspective, you put that so beautifully.

  14. I genuinely feel sorry those who may never see this masterpiece of a show. It's so difficult to get people into shows in general...but even fans of Breaking Bad are missing out on this. It doesn't help the show in general starts a bit slow but one thing that I love about Breaking Bad and BCS...they always reward a viewers patience. Slow moments and episodes are the reason episodes such as this are impactful. In general you can trust the shows process to reward you. That is so unbelievably rare these days. It is methodical story telling done on a masterful level and sadly far too many are missing out on this show.

  15. Beautifully said. I find that having such trust in the writers helps me appreciate the slower episodes even more.

  16. Rooting for Odenkirk this time around.

  17. Same. And that’s saying a lot given how much I adore Jeremy Strong.

  18. Wasn’t expecting to see so many Lyle posts in this thread 😂 though he is undeniably the GOAT

  19. Goes without saying, but “all bangers, all the time”

  20. “If it is to be said” - always gets some blank stares…

  21. Often have to hold myself back from “I merely wish to answer in the affirmative fashion”

  22. Tonight’s episode showed up then disappeared.. did this happen to anyone else lol

  23. Anyone else having issues accessing tonight’s episode?
