  1. I spent $70 in LA las night: 2 packs chicken thighs, 2 cartons macadamia milk, broccoli, 3 sweet potatoes. And some sliced turkey and Swiss cheese

  2. 3 is hilarious. I’m in construction and my guys make fun of it every time I back away from a job site. I agree with #4 as well, but after using it pretty extensively I’m not sure eco mode has actually saved me much $. It just shifts at different times and I think I subconsciously cancel it out by accelerating a bit harder than I otherwise would

  3. I used to always drive in eco until I read a post on here about the modes. Eco mode only makes the regenerative braking come on sooner and more intensely. I use it sparingly now. I leave in regular mode or if I have some slightly down hill areas where I can coast a bit or during traffic on the freeway where speed are under 55mpg I use slippery mode. I get way better mileage that way bc it keeps the regen from kicking in longer and allows you to roll more. The modes are worth experimenting with! If I need to rejuice the battery’s quickly I’ll put it on eco

  4. Yeah, wasn't their Twitter silent for weeks/months after the sneeze, then abruptly started ranting.

  5. Yeah it was like 9 or 10 months. This was incredible to witness in real time!

  6. I think they lost their mystery when everyone found out about them

  7. This is my go to comfort album now. There are moments when I wonder if I’d love it if I didn’t grow up with it (as a thought experiment), but I literally can’t imagine this alternative timeline, it’s so deep in my brain

  8. It was on road trips for us!!! Anytime we went camping it was Graceland!

  9. Paul Simon's Graceland album is forever in my head. Also lots of Tom Petty and Billy Joel.

  10. No I’m not, I’ve been able to maintain my weight for the first time in my life the past year. A year ago I took my first small doses of shrooms. It helped me reconcile my relationship with food. I had known it for a while that I always had turned to food for comfort, I just never knew that I could change that behavior. It changed instantly. I lost the 25lbs I had to lose in a few months by eating better and having smaller portions. Instead of binging on as many slices as I could eat, I would have one or two and a salad. My wife couldn’t believe the change in me and she didn’t even know about how I would sneak fast food when I could. Another weird thing that happened was I lost my taste for alcohol, I was never a big drinker but I lost my taste completely. Even on a two week vacation in Italy I had no interest. Its been over a year and I still haven’t had any alcohol. Life is good 👍🏻

  11. I’m in SoCal in LA, Atlas blue. I have the spray in, it’s awesome. And I have the roll up tonneau hard cover

  12. Come out with me and my wife, her friends are all gorgeous and lots of them are single. Apparently the cougar hang out is at my house! 😂

  13. I got my first brand new car at 44 years old. I’ve bought 3 year old hybrids every time I got a car for the past 20 years. I love the rivian but even with my wife and I making 6 figs+ each I cannot justify it. I preordered a ford maverick hybrid and paid msrp for it, $33k. I nearly didn’t buy it bc even paying that much for a car seemed too much. We live in a VHCOL neighborhood but refi’d a couple years back and my mortgage is peanuts compared to most. I would probably have to be making $500k/ yr to justify spending that much on a car.

  14. My truck is in currently for a 3rd recall, and have 3 more on my app today.

  15. My mav lost power Saturday night. I was only going 30mph and was able to pull over safely. I had it towed to ford on Monday. They said the won’t be able to even look at it till the end of the week at a minimum

  16. Did u do panel recall work recently? Or any recall work that the dealer did?

  17. I was able to submit a thorough report this morning, thank you for this suggestion. I wouldn't have known to do it otherwise. I live in the middle of Los Angeles and I'm thankful it was a rainy Saturday night when there was hardly anyone on the road when this happened. I had my mav towed to the dealership this morning, they can't look at it for a few days and they said they'd not heard of this happening. I told them I knew what was going on when it happened bc I'd read about it happening to other people online. I also told them I was dropping it off even though they can't look at it for a few days because I don't feel safe driving it knowing that this is an issue.

  18. They just called me and I picked up my ride. They said they couldn’t recreate the symptoms so they just reset the system and said it was driving fine. I told them I’m happy I have a paper trail that I was proactive in finding a solution bc this may happen again and hopefully no one gets hurt next time. I told them I’d already submitted a report to the NHTSA.

  19. I’m in LA too. We have mercury, honestly don’t know how much it is bc my wife handles it. We have gated parking at our condo so at least we don’t street park. Will ask.

  20. Didn’t get into a union until I was 37. Changed my life immeasurably. Get in!

  21. I booked a lead role in a major studio feature 20 years ago, I’d never acted before and I was living in New England. It was TOTALLY random and a bizarre set of circumstances that led me to audition there in an open casting call. I’d never acted before. I’ve been in the biz since then and I live in LA. Are you speaking in the show? I would suggest having an entertainment lawyer look at your deal. Also, find an improv coach that will work with you every day. I have a good coach if you want one with reasonable rates.

  22. Big fan of Atlanta, here, both as a place to work and a place to live. But it’s not for everyone—Southern culture and climate can be a shock if you’re new to it. And I personally haven’t been back since the pandemic, so even though I know some folks working there now, I can’t really speak to the state of the GA film industry at large.

  23. My in-laws live in the ATL so we spend a bit of time there anyways but I’ve done several location jobs there (one was 10 months). For me the climate has a lot to be desired after living in LA for 20 years, and Massachusetts for the first 23 years of my life. I’m fortunate to have low cost of living in LA bc my wife bought a condo in ‘08. If that weren’t the case we may have already moved to ATL (against my will 😬)

  24. I grew up on the mid-Atlantic seaboard. Hot, humid, miserable summers and cold, gray, miserable winters are in my DNA

  25. I’m from New England and my family is Irish/Scottish/English, but I guess that skipped my genes. I always wanted to be where there were palm trees and sunshine. At 23 I was able to escape that miserable weather 😆

  26. Right now I’m calling it “that shitbox” bc it went completely dead on me Saturday night while driving. Ford has it now but can’t look at it for a week and I don’t feel safe driving it with the electronics going crazy. That being said I love this lil truck and I miss it and I can’t wait to have it back!

  27. Never too old. TONS of mom roles headed your way that you probably aren’t even old enough for yet. I saw a slow down in my bookings around 32, where I looked too old to play 20’s but wasn’t 40 yet. Now in my mid 40’s (guy bald head and beard) I’m more in demand

  28. Yeah I'm December '78 but I was a premie and was supposed to arrive in January '79, I have to say I seem more millennial to older gen X'ers and I'm Gen X, to a millennial. I suppose thats why the term Xennial exists. My wife is a '74 and definitely gen X. I'm very thankful bc she bought a house in a VHCOL area before we were dating when she was 33. I reap the benefits of that. I wouldn't be a home owner in Los Angeles otherwise.

  29. Honest questions: can it drive with the wheels like this? What is that called when they do that? Does it screw up the rest of the car?

  30. Yes. They do drive. And there are a lot of names for it.

  31. I don't think those animals will get on a train. I like the suggestion though.

  32. My dealer might have found the root cause. Would you believe it might be caused by an overheated exhaust because of a clap failure. That is why it goes into limp mode. They are fixing and I will have it back tomorrow.

  33. Has the problem been resolved? My mav shutdown Saturday night like this.
