  1. it always shocks me to see people just watching on the sidewalk of the horror that takes place. The utter disbelief going through their minds. It shocks me to even watch videos of this incident.

  2. I was one of those people, it was paralyzing. Watching the people run by me with haunted, vacant stares was horrific. It fucked up my brain for quite some time. Plus, living in NJ I was stuck in Manhattan overnight because NJ Transit shut down. I stayed in one of our other offices, which was in the shadow of the Empire State Building, I did not sleep well.

  3. Ignore the idiots, whether on this post or in the real world. My wife and I moved to the Cape about 4 years ago from CT. We love it here and most of the people are great! There are handfuls of mouth breathing morons that think all out of state playes are like some invasion coming to ruin the Cape. When it's those very idiots ruining things. Or what's making life difficult is either happening everywhere and it isn't the random people here visiting from out of state. They actually help the local economy. I still have my old car with CT plates (have another with MA plates) and I still get the random moron telling me to go home while at a stop light. Sorry that stuff happened to you. Don't let it get to you. Most likely just some of the aforementioned idiots who saw an easy target. Enjoy the rest of your time! Come back again soon! Also, hope you feel better soon too! Take care!

  4. I have no problem with out of state plates. I have a problem with people blowing shit out of proportion and insinuating this isn’t a safe place, like a moron sticking a branch in a car couldn’t happen anywhere in the country.

  5. So you’re going to let this random act of fuckery be your association with Cape Cod? That’s fine, you don’t need to come back. Nah you’re right you caught us, this is what we do here. In fact I have a bunch of branches I keep in the back of my pickup for this exact use. JFC. Get a grip, go back to CT and use some mouthwash.

  6. I’m considering turning myself in. I know the court systems on cape will be sure to keep me behind bars

  7. We’re in trouble now if you leave a bad taste in the mouths of Connecticuters.

  8. Stop. This was a funny response to a ridiculous post, like we’re famous here for opening people’s cars and stuffing tree branches inside.

  9. I don’t think it’s the symptoms worsening as much as being aware of all the little things that are seemingly tied to ADHD that you may have just ignored previously.

  10. Seafood department does not mean prepackaged food. If I ask for hamburgers from the butcher department I’m not going to be happy if I get a box of Bubba burgers.

  11. Indy is accurate. I don't think anyone considers Indianapolis to be the South. That said, about half the teams in the SEC aren't, either, so it's just kinda what happens with sports over time.

  12. It is a thing, started by Tom Grossi, it just caught on. The Texans fan is one of the funniest ongoing storylines in his videos. If you haven’t watched him yet on YouTube, it’s must watch stuff.

  13. I mean he’s not wrong, but he’s talking about a destination without directions to get there.

  14. I grew my hair long and bought a Harley. Still have the Harley, had to cut my hair though. One time my dog was struggling to poop, I pulled the rest of the poop out of her butt along with a large length of my hair. It was an uncomfortable experience for her so I cut it off.

  15. Your writing doesn’t tell me you are dumb. Also being a savant in something doesn’t make you smart. Maybe you just haven’t found your thing yet.

  16. A nod up and to the left is come with me.

  17. Play guitar, record music, game, work in yard, walk with or play with dog.

  18. lol. People here are fine. You’ll be fine. We just have our share of disgruntled gatekeepers.

  19. It’s like that in a lot of places here in MA, not just Wegmans. I go to buy a pack of cigarettes and get my drivers license scanned. I’m 54 and my beard is grey.

  20. Elvis, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Elvis.

  22. Almost as if some or all of this story was manufactured.

  23. Not my parents, but, they are starting to struggle due to all the inflations. I expect them to move in with me within 20 years. My parents are religiously frugal though. And they made good money. They are not average parents.

  24. I wouldn’t believe what Reddit conveys about parents to be the norm. Most of the silent gen and boomer parents I know have been smart with their money. Many of them for the exact reason of not wanting to be a burden to their kids.

  25. True, but can the sphere generate anywhere near the amount of heat as a girlfriend snuggling up to you in bed on a too-warm night?

  26. I really hope there is no plan to mesh his ideas in and he’s just saving face. We’ve seen two iterations of them already.

  27. Happens to every generation. The Gen X sub is wild. We are supposed to be the “whatever” generation. Now I see more posts about how we’re at the end of days.

  28. Funny this sub doesn’t seem to like Miley, but y’all sure do love your porn stars.

  29. My realtor was great because I did my homework. She earned her commission.

  30. I used to be a realtor, and it is a shitty job. All you ignorant bitches don't know the shit realtors go through to sell your home. I was a realtor for 2 years and only sold 2 properties. All while spending about $600+ a month to maintain my license and insurances ect. Not to mention what I spent advertising myself and the properties I was listing. You have to really work at building a customer base, word of mouth, ect. I never got one referral even though I worked for a major international real estate brokerage. It's not like you get your license, and then all of a sudden, you have 12 listings and a bunch of buyers on the line. It takes time, effort, patience, professionalism, and a broad knowledge of federal and state housing laws and restrictions. I'm sick of hearing realtors don't do shit and just sit back and collect money. It's like saying lawyers don't do shit but put people in jail and collect money. I hate the real estate world, but go fucking learn about something before you blindly call thousands of people lazy, rich, assholes. Although, a lot of realtors are assholes unless you're their client, but I stick by the rest.

  31. It’s Reddit. Most of these people probably can’t even buy a house. My buying agent worked her butt off for me.

  32. Ill never own a home again with how things are going

  33. If you lose it, you’ll probably have even less of a chance though?
