If you properly adjust the lockup ring on the takedown mechanism, a receiver mounted scope should retain zero fairly well. Magpul makes a barrel mount that will hold zero better, but it puts the scope forward a bit, limiting you to more scout style scopes. Works better for dots

Magpul x22 backpacker stock + 3 rotary mags. The mags fit in the stock, the barrel attaches to the stock for a compact package to store in a backpack.
I want to put a scope on as well would it still work with this stock?
