Think if it like this, think about a scoreboard but you can only have 100 points. As shares get registered with CS, the CS score goes up and the DTCC score goes down, if apes continue to DR shares the score will eventually be CS 100, DTCC 0.

I am half DRSed outside the US because all the "tomorrow" posts made me FOMO into not starting the process to transfer my shares, because my broker takes 6 weeks (reports in German Spielstop subreddit) and I didn't want them to be stuck somewhere.
Easy solution, transfer them all to IBKR at one time, then send them to computershare in batches. Only cost $5 dollars each time
I am buying new ones at IBKR and transfer them whenever I buy new ones after.
Once your computershare account is up and running, it’ll only take 2-4 days from IBKR to computershare..
