Is my cat limping on his left rear leg? I started to notice his walking gait look odd but I’m not too sure. He also suddenly started to shift his weight on his right leg when he sit to eat or sip his water. Beyond that he seem pretty normal, he still can jump and run and does seem in pain.

Oh wow. Although that’s not been my experience with her, I understand why you feel the way you do and why you decided to go to another vet. One of my cats was limping all of a sudden, so I took her in last week. Dr. Steelmen told me to let her take it easy, she wasn’t in pain so no need for meds, the only medication she said I could give her was joint supplements but told me they were not necessary. She told me it could be an early sign of arthritis and that she’s a little overweight so to cut back on food little by little to help her lose one pound. I’m not trying to discount your experience, just mentioning mine was different. I would have done the same thing as you and gotten a second opinion. I’m glad your little one is feeling a lot better.
