  1. I do the same thing! But i try to remind myself how many times I’ve eaten out before and the amount of times I’ve actually gotten ill from it. Even the other day, i went to a sub shop and debated on ordering lettuce on it (fear food 🙄) but i said fuck it and got it bc i was like “the majority of people in this shop rn have it on their sandwiches, I’m fine,” and guess what, I was fine! Also, remember that fp is actually a lot less common than you think - it’s really confirmation bias working against you (you’re seeing all of these posts abt fp or hearing people talk about it, so you believe it’s a common occurrence). My parents are in their 50s and both have them have gotten fp TWICE in their entire life from things they KNEW they probs shouldn’t eat.

  2. Thank you for your comment. I totally will bare these things in mind. I do appreciate it very much 🥺

  3. I once read that leafy greens are safest if you get them whole instead of like, bagged and prepared salads for example. Prep and wash them yourself. It's more time consuming but it ends up tasting better that way too.

  4. Honestly I'm at 12 months pp and I don't think I'm ever going to feel the same about any animals :( I love our cat but I no longer want her around me because I am so touched out.

  5. I will never do oysters or anything of the sort. Never have, never will. I've even had raw sushi. But never EVER those.

  6. As soon as you said single mom, I didn't even have to read the rest. Girl, do what you need to do to SURVIVE. Sending you love.

  7. Have you tried snacks? Like frequent snacks throughout the day. I've been doing that with my girl!

  8. This. My baby in 9 months and constantly eating snacks all day. A lot of berries.

  9. For a while I did no salt in food and then eventually realized how difficult it really was for me. I was so fucking tired having to prepare meals completely without salt 3x a day and then for myself? I couldn't. So I would do no salt where I could, but if I was cooking something pre-made or something like that, I still served it to her as long as it wasn't insane amount of sodium. Like macaroni and cheese, pizza, chicken nuggets, premade pasta sauce, things that are really easy.

  10. I'm happier in general because I always wanted to be a mom. but I also just really really fucking tired and isolated where I'm at. I think if I had more community I'd be a bundle of joy.

  11. What brand falafel did you get? I'm struggling to find any store bought that I like but I don't have the time to do it at home

  12. Those cookies on the top look as if they may be maamoul, if they had date or fig filling. In the first picture.

  13. Peppermint essential oil or tea bags. Smell them. It really helps. Also ginger chews 😊

  14. I find it strange and offensive in it of itself to rely on AI to represent any ethnic group or race of people.

  15. I can see the push for it given a lot of the time it's thrown at people without addressing a true diagnosis or the awful side effects that can happen with it, but at the same time it's a life saving and necessary medication in MANY ways and natural family planning simply is not as effective. I just wish there was a balance. Ugh.

  16. I would just try to offer iron and protein rich plant based foods. Lentils, legumes, dark leafy greens, tofu all come to my mind. And then don't give up on serving meat as well. Just keep the options open

  17. I got some hair loss but otherwise I look the same. The hair loss is only noticable to me in the front. I didn't even get stretch marks and I did nothing to prevent it 🤷🏻‍♀️ my family was all the same. I do believe genetics play into this.

  18. I think it's fine especially if you guys play together or you involve your kid. I however don't do it because I find it hard to focus. I don't even watch TV unless babe is napping. I have a crazy 12 mo old. But I'm excited for the day we can play together. Stardew Co Op w my kid is a dream.

  19. balsalmic, man... I made the mistake once of having real dop tradizionale balsalmic and it's ruined me for everything else, *and* it's like $150 for a tiny bottle so i'm boned either way

  20. I once had a chocolate balsamic in Portland Oregon. I never wanted anything else again.

  21. Every year I do a road trip to Los Angeles. On the way back I stop at the Olive Pit in Corning, CA, to buy enough olive oil and weird balsamic vinegars to last the year. I love their stuff.

  22. This here was at Benessere in Portland. If you ever go through definitely try it!
