  1. But there really should be more cats. OP isn’t seeing the big picture.

  2. While the triangle is quite an elegant shape, my dog is quite a derpy dog and would bonk her head every single time she stood up. In a different world where my dog had more than half a brain, I'd buy this in a heartbeat.

  3. My cats would love this. This is an excellent cat fort.

  4. We usually decide based on the destination. Like, if we’re going to San Francisco where we go to museums and zoos, then we’ll bring the stroller.

  5. If I go to hell, it will be for something I did in middle school. Sorry, dad.

  6. I think men are really selfish to only think of themselves.

  7. Any family or friends that are worth a damn are states away. They'd love to help, but they're just not here. I'm actively working on getting us moved closer, but that's a huge undertaking right now.

  8. In addition to intervening, you also need to start keeping track and documenting these interactions.

  9. I want to let you know that while mental illness can be the reason for bad behavior, it’s not an excuse.

  10. I like the green, however the stark white is giving hospital very hard. Definitely a new shower curtain and maybe some fun art!

  11. I bet those are mint green tiles painted white.

  12. That is what I thought or at least some of them are? If they are I would strip it and relish in the vintage.

  13. I have the pink version of this bathroom and love it…except the wall paint. I need to update that :)

  14. Hah. I was half wondering that. I'm in Western Washington/Seattle area.

  15. I was a Seattle lifeguard/swim instructor back in 2007 and yup. It was crazy back then too.

  16. Some of the kids will remember us fondly, and some not so much. (We're all flawed people)

  17. My father was put up for adoption back in the late 60s early 70s (his biodad was black and his mom’s parents were racist). He was adopted into a horrific household and suffered greatly.

  18. I'm glad he had someone show him love. Even today, children of mixed heritage have trouble finding good homes. I wish him all the best.

  19. He met my mother and really flourished. The two of them are madly in love and living their best lives.

  20. I don’t know anything about this piece other than it’s absolutely beautiful.

  21. I may be a horrible cat owner but I do it just for a weekend trip. I wouldn't trust anything automated but I leave out giant bowls of food and water and an extra litter pan. He's never any worse for the wear when I get home just super needy so he does get lonely but he doesn't like strangers so anyone coming to check on him probably wouldn't even be able to find him.

  22. A lot of the automated feeders have backup batteries in case of power outages!

  23. yeah my blue carpeted 80s shit cabinet hell hole peeling wallpaper self is SO JEALOUS of this GORGEOUS kitchen

  24. Ah, a fellow carpet Kitchener. I also cry in my brown carpeted, poorly renovated in the 80s, kitchen.

  25. I just basically said I felt abandoned and was grumpy, exhausted. I didn’t yell or told him he was a horrible person, just that the two last weeks were not fun. I’m having a rough time.

  26. It’s ok to feel exhausted and overwhelmed.

  27. My wife has had zero lessons, zero instruction as I am also a beginner! I can sort of do the blue squares, but that’s about it. My wife hasn’t yet learned to turn, so snow plowed down the whole way and is physically exhausted

  28. I learned how to ski in my late 20s and it’s one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. Your wife is a trooper. She’s a badass lady who deserves all the post ski beer and massages she can get.

  29. Thanks. Everyone likes the first one and I thank you all for sharing your opinion. I now know I shouldn't change the backs[lash and probably get rid of the accent tile.

  30. I don’t even hate the accent backsplash. Your kitchen, as is, is waaaaaay nicer than any kitchen I’ve ever owned. I would never complain if I lived there.

  31. Also, edited to add: The deck is in no way up to code. We will need to replace at one point it so that it’s not a death trap.

  32. I take this view but have never met any parents in real life that share this. When we’re out with other people and my son tries to take another child’s toy, the parents always force their child to give it to him.

  33. I would make a door that’s also a bookshelf. Or even cabinets so that you can better store all the kid stuff in a way that’s out of sight.

  34. Babies have immune systems at birth. If they didn't, there wouldn't be any point to giving them vaccines.

  35. My sister almost died from bacterial meningitis 2 weeks after she was born because everyone kept kissing her.

  36. Yeah.. I was reading a lot of studies and freaking myself out on the difference between full term and early term

  37. My kiddo had some short-term effects being born at 37 weeks. He was super jaundiced and had difficulty breathing.
