Staff at LMAS are pleading for weekend fosters. 5yr no kill shelter at capacity. The dogs they’ve loved and worked with the longest risk being the first to go.

I made a post about them recently here, my conclusion is that High Fidelity worked fine. I preferred Loop but it was more expensive.
I had a korean gf and she did not care about animals at all. She told me thats just how she got raised. Had no sympathy or interest at all.
Most people across the world eat pigs, cow, and other sentient animals. Korean got nothing to do with it. That’s just cognitive dissonance.
There’s a lot of good answers in here…. There’s also a few assholes.
Where is that shelter located i might go there and get me a new baby 😙 💯
Please keep us posted if you do!
What is “weekend foster”, exactly?
Basically they expect to have transports next week, but they also expect an influx of strays and run-aways over the weekend due to fireworks.
What’s the liquid in the vase?
Apple cider vinegar :)
Will there be a follow-up? I must see the life of spider friend!
She’s nocturnal, so after I took this photo, she went to sleep between the paper sheets of this cone.
What are u suing as the liquid mix?
Apple cider vinegar, a banana piece. Some people add dish soap
This is more interesting than my spider
This isn’t mildly interesting, this is actually really cool OP
Thanks
Posted on a Freedom Across America page, this was targeted at Dems, but in light of yesterday’s events is a far more relevant mirror image.
This is the content I’m subbed here for. Beautiful work
I will upvote this every time it gets reposted
Still wondering why dairy-sucking omni are allowed to call themselves vegetarians. We're the actual herbivores...
Not sure what you mean by “still”. This man was pioneering animal rights before your mother was born.
"But I still love to exploit those chickens for their delicious, delicious eggs that I could do without, but I can't be bothered to care about baby chicks being thrown into a meat grinder"
The word vegan didn’t even exist for 40 years after this man’s birth.
Arm the animals. It’s the only way
You could pull of oysters. I doubt lions though (they kinda wanna hang-off something, not emerge from the ground). I swear my neighbor has chestnuts in his bed. Not intentionally put there, but the bed is kinda like yours, so the habitat is right (I'm zone 7a or 7b). It has an old dead stump in it and he made a raised bed around it. I see large clusters of them a few days after it rains every spring and fall. 3 blocks over there are definitely chestnuts growing from a living tree, so I wouldn't be surprised if the spores migrated over sometime in the last few years.
Do you know if these types of mushrooms compete for resources? If I got winecaps, oyster, and chestnut and just put them all in there and which if any survive?
depends how you seed the bed. were you planning on purchasing sawdust spawn or some kind of plug spawn?
Wow, thank you for all this knowledge!
almonds aren't inherently exploitative, but if you want to boycott specifically the farms that do ship in honey bees, good on ya
Under that argument, honey isn’t inherently exploitive, since bees make way too much of it. Evolution has adapted them to account for rodents, bears, etc.
Thank you for putting at least half a brain cell into considering this dilemma…apparently this sub is just dogmatic without any independent thought nowadays
Yeah there’s a lot of groupthink here. I assume the majority of practicing vegans have a far more nuanced philosophy than those represented on this sub.
Love this thread ❤️
Get a straw, cut it about 1/2” long, and then cut it down long ways. Now wrap it around the band from your wrist side and push it in to the back cylinder to block the teeth from puncturing the fabric. If you do it right, your band should slide freely with no problem.
Your plants are leggy. Either not enough airflow or not enough light
