  5. The screwed up thing is that it is people from those other subs that come here and make posts that violate the rules then we get punished for it. Just yesterday there was a post with screen shot celebrating a ban for a year from another sub. I asked the OP to remove it before we got in trouble for brigading an he refused and others jumped on talking shit about it being FREE SPEECH. Which it really is not because reddit is not the government it is private. I know the poster and the other commenters were most likely trouble makers from that other sub just so they could report that post being on this sub. I dont see how you fight that

Most of the time, someone will reach out to modmail with contact info (recently someone gave me Kristina Copeland's email and phone number and told her to expect me to contact her, someone contacted Nomi Prins' assistant in the past) or someone will make a post saying someone accepted an ama request (and then we reach out), or I'll msg people on Twitter, LinkedIn, or email.

Kelleher wrote that article later and used the informational post as a framework.

  43. When it was happening 2 years ago, before it was called out on reddit, like you, I was watching the Govt. Live stream (half of reddit was watching the CNBC stream and half the Govt. Stream - honestly, I think it was more 75/25 CNBC over Govt stream at the time), but I switched to the CNBC stream out of curiosity and spotted a youtube comment calling out the jump which I screenshoted (and placed into the proof post), checked into it, then called it out on GME. That was technically the first post on reddit about it. I remember having to yell 'proof.' This post's video, however, came after that and was recorded by Socrates6210 about 2 years ago, around the same time. My idea initial idea was to just call it out with links, which I did, then make a clip of the missing footage to show people what is not in the CNBC stream, his idea was to show the two side by side. We were all calling it out. His was really good and needed to be posted again. Obviously, we can't post the link to it,, but I put it in the youtube video's description. Bets was another story. GmE knew about it,, but bets didn't because of the post blockade at the time. They had made the rules sooo incredibly limiting that they were essentially blocking it. I made a post with bare bones information and a clip of the deleted footage. They banned me for telling people, after I told them the exact timestamps, informationally, if they want the to just click the links, they're in my comment history. This banned me, but it didn’t break any rules and was an afterthought after following the rules to the letter, respectfully. Fuck them. They were looking for a reason and the mod was a dumpster fire, they way he talked to me about it. I was like, "hey man, whatever you want, I'm just trying to get the information out there."
