  1. The crazy guy was gone. But the Cops said that I was crazy for pulling over - even if just for his plate info... the boomer drove away and into his HOA but it was clear the cops didn't want to make any paperwork for them

  2. Actually pretty sure you're the one who could have gunned him down "legally", since he was coming at you in a threatening manner...you just have to be reasonably in fear for your life and you can go boom boom in good old Florida. I'm not a fan of that law, vs having the duty to try to get away, but that's the law. I'd say better than even you get off on that defense, judging by video...big dude, coming aggresively, banging on hood.

  3. Unfortunately no... My Tesla was driving itself and pissed the guy off by "cutting" him off.

  4. I know those are irony quotation marks, but like how close was he when your car moved in front of him? Was he accelerating or going faster than you when you changed lanes in front of him (assuming that's what happened) and he had to slow down slightly? Some people think that's the end of the world that they have to slow for a lane changer in front of them. EDIT just realized maybe you can't answer since was on autodrive and you weren't looking in mirror? Any chance there's cameras all around on that car?

  5. Thanks. I thought maybe "Option on futures" was in "no-mans land." Edit any idea if margin on futures considers options on same futures? Guessing (obiously?) yes, but not sure...since there's no risk based margin for futures? Futures have good margin regardless, but wondering.

  6. My inconvenience is immeasurable and my day is ruined

  7. Why not a standing coat rack, which will take up similar space anyway?

  8. I’ve been to Seoul thrice and shenyang once and it seems like the entire northern part of the Korean peninsula suffers from extremely poor air quality like I’ve never seen.

  9. Was an article somewhere just days ago...WSJ or NYT maybe, mentioning that the worst 100 cities in the world for air pollution are all in Asia.

  10. Did you try ThinkBack on thinkorswim? I don't know if it includes futures an futures options or not.

  11. Yeah you get that from the exchange or some data providers. And yes it’s going to be incredibly expensive. We bought some of it at the firm level and it was well into six figures.

  12. I used to ponder running the Pyongyang marathon. It was one of the few events they allowed foreigners in for.

  13. Does this mean if I drink enough acetone, I can destroy the microplastics infesting my body?

  14. Had my annual physical yesterday, and doc gave me a speech about the dangers of drinking from plastic bottles. Says nobody knows the impact yet, but they know it's accumulating in our livers and elsewhere. Put a little "MP" on my notes to record that he spoke to me about Microplastics.

  15. I assume you mean tap water? He said a reverse osmosis filter would make everything safe, but he was warning about the bottled water sold at stores that people drink a bunch of daily.

  16. Just numerical values, like say 1000 in N280 and 750 in M 280. So would deduct a1000-a750, hopefully.

  17. Search “Suffolk county ticket lawyers.” They are totally worth it vs $1000 yearly increase in your insurance for the next few years.

  18. I’m from Russia and I think everyone in the world knows what’s wrong is going on in my country so I don’t have to make any other comments or explanations…

  19. Just one question if you don't mind...was the feeling that Russia was in danger from Nato expansion widespread among Russians, or was that not a big issue since not much really happened on that in last few years? In other words was the invasion really about that, or just "Let's get our empire back", and if it's the second is the main population good with it anyway? I mean the majority, and not the better informed people who are on Reddit...

  20. https://www.nyse.com/markets/hours-calendars

  21. I think it's just a stylised view of nowhere in particular, the church spire and facade in the background are unfamiliar - but the Straßenbahn is distinctly Stuttgart

  22. Looks like you need a nested if: =IF(U2="","",IF(U2>V2,"Rising","Falling"))

  23. this is also why Vampires only need a child to invite them in, and don't have to ask for an adult.

  24. The man was not trespassing because he was on the property with the permission of someone who lawfully occupies it. The fact that other occupants don’t want him there (or didn’t expect to find him there) doesn’t change that.

  25. Heck I don't get how he was even arrested, presuming the woman he was with was still present, and saying "I live here and he's my guest." I assume most cops would have given the parents an annoyed look and left. NAL.

  26. Anyone know if occasional loads with chlorox, or just running it with only water (no clothes) and heavy chlorox or vinegar would prevent this ugliness?

  27. Yup. You can't clean something without making something else dirty.

  28. And has the biggest balls ever to go out there and do shit like this. Legend.

  29. Top of that list is him/Bruno, in the middle of the night, going nude into the tent of those two rough guys he was out hunting with...knowing they had hunting rifles. 33% chance he dies filming that.

  30. Honestly most actresses couldn't have done as well if it was scripted with actors...she is quick thinking as heck, and with only 1 chance.

  31. Hi Jack..I see you're still active on Reddit. Two questions...we are trying to download 15 years of SPY tick data, just bids size and asks size...not even prices, to create historical bid/ask ratios on the stock itself. (Applying it against spx which doesn't have underlying, but we have tick data for that). My freelancer is downloading 50k bids/ask/ticks(?) at a time, which he tells me is max, and creating. 10 minute candle totals using python in excel. The rate is about 5-6 minutes per day of data in later years, so perhaps over 8-9 days for 15 years to download.

  32. Hey, I definitely recommend working with our support team. Happy to help here in the off chance it helps someone else, though.

  33. If you read all of the disclosures at the various sites, they all state something to the effect that the brokerage service will get paid and/or discounts based on what and how much you buy, and that is how they make their money. As far as TDA telling me that the fees change, I think that the difference comes with the SEC Fee, although it is minimal, but I do not know for certain. I wanted to enter an exact formula into my spreadsheet so I would know just what profit/loss ratio would be before entering a trade. I think that it is a reasonable request. Quite frankly, I do not care what the trading fees would be for any trade, as long as I have the knowledge up front to use as part of my decision-making. As stated above, I never traded an index option yet, and want to enter my first trade with my eyes wide open. That is why I was digging for answers last night, and then posed the question above. Reading through the comments here and other places, I have not found a consistent answer, and the range of fees charged for different customers is quite large (the Brokerage Service may well be a part of it). Your input is both well taken and appreciated.

  34. I'm definitely not as exact as you regarding all that. On my backesting I use 1 percent of premium slippage, and that hopefully covers fees and execution price above or below off mid. I usually get mid on spx but not always, so figure that covers it.

  35. Thanks! I saw that sheet last night, and it added to my confusion!!! Try to put that sheet in an excel formula--that would keep me busy for a month! If the 1% seems to work, that would be a great starting point and I could adjust as needed for my exact trades (compared to your 1% for your trades). I could easily take the average of the last 20 weeks or whatever. What may make my situation a bit more tricky is that I have six different accounts I'm working with: the Joint Margin, 2 Roth IRAs (my wife's and mine), 2 Traditional IRAs (same as Roth), and my HSA (already at Schwab). Her Roth started at $58.13 a couple months ago, and her Trad IRA was not much better. Her Roth just went over $200 this week, and her other IRA over $3000, so I know that I'm on the right track. I'm only using 50% of the cash in those two accounts based on last week's value using the now $1.00 wide spread because this money cannot be replaced (we are retired). My other accounts I have a self-imposed limit of 150 each call and put spreads not bought at the same time trying to take advantage of normal market moves/volatility giving me wider margins of error and more profit. It takes more time than just buying Monday morning and checking things out on Friday mornings, but it has been great so far. I also close them out at .02 just in case the market turns again (mainly saving me headaches!). I think that I am averaging about $.40-.45 per "iron condor" per week this way (.30 on each spread, but some do not buy and sometimes on Wednesday or Thursday, I go to the next week). Thanks again for your efforts and at least a good starting point. I use TOS to place all orders. Does that give you an accurate number when you place the trades for SPX like for other option orders? Thanks again.

  36. Sounds good. All my analyses are "till expiration" but I usually close mine when profit over 90% prem spent on longs...can't help myself.

  37. The border isn’t perfectly east/west there are area where it dips and rises, for example you drive south from Detroit to get to Windsor Canada.

  38. OT but I lived in Los Angeles, and it weirded me out that the ocean was dead South of Malibu...even Southeast in areas.

  39. I remember when they said this about tattoos period. I wonder how long it will take to drop the face tattoo stigma too.

  40. True. Shaved heads used to mean “dangerous skinhead.” Now it means good grooming.

  41. If you sent them as a message you should be able to delete it. But I doubt that after 3 years something would suddenly go wrong.

  42. Thanks, but that 2021 was year of a conversation about this issue I found in the upwork community. The files are only weeks or months old.

  43. Oh I see , if you sent the files through an offer I'm not sure if you're gonna be able to remove them.

  44. Ok thanks. Minor point, it was well after the offer. I have been working with these people over a year and uploaded dozens of files over that time.
