Just a reminder, they are messing with the price on no volume, trying to create a false narative.

  1. There's blood loss all over the place today, not just our beloved stonk....feels like all hell is about to break loose.

  2. Thatβ€˜s what a market wide red day looks like as a reaction to China… nothing else. Now itβ€˜s gonna be interesting to see if the negative beta theory will work itβ€˜s magic.

  4. I don’t know, several other stocks experienced the same. (Apple, etc). I think it has to do more with the dip that the European market is undertaking right now. But what do I know ?

  5. Not necessarily, it will dip if the market dips. How far down we don't know but it takes days/weeks before liquidation starts.

  6. It's impossible for me to believe that no Chinese firms that were long on their market tried to go long on GME hoping to get bailed out by greedy Americans. If that was the case, some of them are losing their leverage and would be forced to sell. That's a reason we might dip before the rip. Longs liquidate faster than shorts fail.

  7. I've been reading academic research paper on the different theories and metrics for stock price discovery. I've yet to find any research that takes into account Market Makers holding their thumb on the scales to push the price up or down.

  8. I’m very happy that they are giving a deal to all the market buy computershare posters from over the weekend. So kind. So giving. Lol.

  9. If they could do this, could they not theoretically drive the price so low in the extended market so that it makes covering easier?

  10. To cover, they need people to sell. They could theoretically drive it down to $0.01, however wouldn't mean anything if no one is selling. They need shares to cover.
