  1. Nah. I seriously doubt it's one of the wicked witches. After all, Paraclesus says he's hunting Dorothy. And if the wicked witches can fly, why would they be walking on the rooftops of Krat?

  2. Well, Pinocchio is also supposed to have a long nose, but that wasn't exactly true in the game. They obviously take massive liberties with the story, so honestly I think this is entirely possible. Besides, I don't think literal witches that can fly would fit very well in this world anyway. I think them just being alchemists would make a lot of sense

  3. The long nose was referenced with Carlo's portrait, as created by D. Grey, assumed to be short for Dorian Grey.

  4. Exactly, it's referenced but it doesn't actually happen. The same thing will probably happen with the witches. They'll probably have, like flying machines or something

  5. pink one is useless to me because water is already my fave drink lol i want no sleep, talk to cats, and 20 dollars cause...well...20 dollars is 20 dollars

  6. I chose pink so water will taste like water but when I'm really thirsty

  7. Pink so water tastes like water but when I'm really thirsty

  8. I wish I lived in tribal times where one guy said "see that white floaty thing up there? That's God." And you just believed it. I bet existence was way more interesting back then

  9. Boingboingboingboingboingboing

  10. Agree with these. Especially HG and LE; two kinda hard to place spots.

  11. Honestly, I would say LE is actually pretty easy. People love a charismatic villain

  12. Name a character who experienced more pain. Go on, I'll wait

  13. Fuck, Marry, Kill, Jonkle. Next question.

  14. Most comets don't have a 10 minute orbit lol.

  15. Everything in Outer Wilds has intentionally shrunk down proportions. The planets and their orbits, of course, but also the timeline. The Nomai establish civilization and culture at lightning speeds, I believe it's only within a generation or two they're already worshiping the Eye and sending religious pilgrimages to the Quantum Moon. The Hearthians evolved from tadpoles to full sentience at breakneck speeds, and then they achieved (semi)sustainable space flight despite their entire population only consisting of, like, 2 dozen members, a quarter of which are children and another quarter are... well, not the brightest. Like many open world games, I feel as though we're supposed to see the game as a sort of scaled down representation of their reality

  16. I just wanna take issue with the words "worshipping" and "religious." They certainly revere the Eye, but I'm not confident that reverence is spiritual in nature so much as the subject of intense cultural scientific curiosity.

  17. They believe the eye of the universe is a "higher being" worthy of study, contemplation, pilgrimages, and even putting everywhere in their architecture. Don't get me wrong, the eye definitely is a higher being, but just because they're right doesn't mean it's fundamentally different from any other religion. The idea of a sort of "technoreligion," while relatively rare, isn't necessarily new in media. I'd say what the Nomai have going on is sort of adjacent to that. Just instead of technology, it's more... scholarly? Something like that

  18. It can be tough to explain when you want alone time, but the thing you want to do alone is the thing you were just doing with other people

  19. Fandoms often tend to want to fill in a gap they feel the show left. This usually applies to some element of the lore, but it also applies to horny

  20. He’s awesome in Foyle’s War if you’re into British mystery/crime shows!

  21. Huh, I might have to check that out... is it on streaming?

  22. Just discovering IMDB?

  23. Let me have this revelation

  24. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me multiple times by doing the exact same thing over and over, it's probably brain damage.

  25. 4 is a brownie not bread. Execution time.

  26. You.forget she is in Hollow Knight as well, right? It isn't out of question to sell figures of characters in already released and well acclaimed game

  27. You and I both know that's not why they're releasing this

  28. They're doing the school project classic of waiting for the deadline and doing it all the night before for the adrenaline rush, but they forgot to actually set a deadline

  29. Honestly, I've gone full frenzied flame with this sub. MAY SILKSONG NEVER COME OUT. MAY CHAOS TAKE THE WORLD.

  30. Out of curiosity, how did you approach Elden Ring? Difficulty in that game is determined a lot by what you allow yourself to use, like summons, craftables, and certain overpowered spells

  31. Results vary. It could be death, it could be we all stare at you menacingly until you leave

  32. How do you get food? You'd have to go past the oil stairs

  33. But once you kill enough zombies the bodies will start to block the stairs, and then you won't be able to kill the rest of them

  34. The big monkey in Sekiro. Bro's gonna throw his shit at me and do all his bullshit, and then he has the audacity to get back up and do it again? Nah, I'm out. But that was a year or two ago back when that and Elden Ring were the only real souls games I had played. Now I've 100% Elden Ring and mastered parrying through Lies of P. With that, plus the knowledge that apparently you can actually parry the ape which I did not know, and I think I'm ready to give it another shot. After the Elden Ring dlc though.

  35. But, that IS the point. We all die. There's no escaping that. So savor what you can now, and let it go when it's time

  36. Everything morgott says. I love his voice actor as well, one of my favorite.

  37. Holy crap, how did I not put that together. It's such a distinctive voice. Man, that guy is talented, he does that gloomy determination so well
