I need some help. Where do I find the Exe files? They don't seem to exist on my pc for some reason

If you can run the game, of course you have the .exe files. It's possible you've got windows to hide file extensions (this is generally a bad idea, you should disable this - extensions tell you what sort of file you're looking at so they are important for avoiding suspicious files and so on) so check the settings of File Explorer for that.

This is fantastic, thank you! I'd successfully modded the original release way back when, but just recently acquired the Fakku release and was reluctant to start messing around in the files without knowing more.

There is no 'proper install' for the Fakku release. Just unzip the giant zip file you downloaded and run the launcher to generate launch options like resolution and so on. Keep that DL - it works well as a backup if you mess the game up installing mods.

Both. Right now I'm seeing where HS2 goes and working out how it functions and feels. There's a lot of really good changes in there, but there are some things in it that are just worse, for example the shininess of materials is in many cases less good, the physics of hair are just crap and the lipstick leaves a lot to be desired. Also what the fuck is Illusion's problem with high heels? Everyone wants that shit, stop deputising it to mod makers. This can probably be remedied by mod makers but that's for the future.

Not sure if it works but have you tried the "[BR] Vanillify the game.bat" in the directory?

As with any .bat file I read it carefully rather than just running it, and it appears to be based on Koikatsu, so I left it alone.

I'm used to Fakku's version of Neo with their HSUE release; that has no face controls there. Possibly you're used to using a pre-modded version?

Not the standard toggles, no. There was a button labelled Advanced Option on the previous build, It allowed complete control of the eyes, mouth, eyelashes etc, so you can make less terrifying looking facial expressions :)

If you're having trouble with both legit and illegitimate versions it's probably your computer rather than the game. The game runs on the Unity engine so maybe other people might be having issues with the engine in other games that you could get info on which might help you with HS2. Guessing your laptop doesn't have much by way of a video card? Have you updated GFX drivers any time recently? Is the processor decent? Also, does the menu load? The character customiser?

Play Home is by the same company and the game play is similar. Fair warning though, the story involves home invasion/rape/incest

In the Honey Select story, such as it is, Sitri finds girls fitting your specifications and you then make them dress or undress exactly how you want and can not only fuck them whenever you want irrespective of what they might say, you can also restrain them, whip them, beat them, fuck them while they sleep and even watch them shower or pee and force yourself on them in those situations, and can simply select an option to prevent them escaping the hotel when they get pissed off with you; that's totally not a problem ethics-wise.

Sure, people can boycott stuff if they want, and they can pick and choose what they want to support or not. It's just...you know, when you get down to it, a legit business treated a pirate kind of shittily. When you compare it with the other stuff companies are doing every day, it's not really that terrible, and I can only say that someone who decides to boycott Fakku but not other companies who have real blood and death and modern-day slavery on their hands has some really fucked up priorities.

Go to Kinematics -> IK. Press "apply anim to IK". Then activate body and neck, plus any others that are necessary for the pose you like. You can now adjust every joint individually.

Just play it in Japanese. You can work out what stuff does fairly easily. It's not like gameplay is complex and relies on a deep understanding of text. Fucking is a universal language!

If the character's stats are important to you, the best idea is to remove a character from the room and then edit their personalities by going to the character customisation screen via the main title screen. Change away from 'glass heart' to something more useful (personally I recommend 'masochist' as you can then use blue positions without any penalty).

Sounds like you need

Remove her from your room, load her in the character editor from the title menu, change her character to broken (the character labelled "..."). Save, readd to room.
