Thinking about turning this into an SBR.bc my other rifle feels better with a VFG. What's your experience, is an SBR worth the strict rules, like no crossing State lines? And if I do, how do I go about releasing the castle nut since it is staked? I've never had to do it. Hope posting the pictures ok

Hi, I have a 3rd Gen TL. For some reason, I came out side a couple of days ago and the clock on my car was wrong. every time I go into the settings and reset it it doesn't change the clock on the display above the navigation infotainment area. anyone know why this is happening? YT was no help

Luckily where I am now a can is a big enough flex on the Fudds in central Texas, I’m sure most wouldn’t know what a SBR is. But if the poors around you start rolling up with cans or SBRs don’t be afraid to “two stamp” flex them. You gotta do what you gotta do.

Wow! This has been driving me nuts. I have a 2008 TL 3.2 w/nav, and have the clock issue also. Battery is going (car cranks slow especially when winter hit) so maybe that has some bearing?? Clock started slowing down recently and got to about 30 minutes slow when my wife accidentally left a door ajar overnight which ran the battery all the way down. Charged battery up, started it, and clock is now about 2 hours fast (I think because there is no AM/PM). Can't reset mine in the settings either. Previous owner left me with the 2014 and 2016 nav disks but no update disk. Tried switching out the disks, and even leaving the drive empty with no luck. Going to get a new battery installed tomorrow, but I think those that have commented on it being a 'Y2K like'/coding problem are most likely correct. Also going to try hooking up the new battery at 1:00 as another post suggested. Maybe that will fix it. Otherwise I don't have a clue. This is really ignorant on Acura's part to not allow manual clock setting in the nav vehicles. My manual says that non-nav vehicles just set their clocks manually anyway. Sheesh, how ridiculous!! Absolutely love the car though!! Mine was in mint condition when I bought it in 2020 for $7800 with 143k miles on it. Previous owner was an Acura dealership service manager and took awesome care of it. I plan on keeping it for a long, long time. The car is such a pleasure in every way (except for the clock ha,ha) and so fun to drive. I think the lines and the looks of it are the best of the TL gens.
I don't think the battery or your system has anything to do with it, I agree that it's a Y2K type of thing. I would get your starter looked at if the car is turning over slowly. I'm not a mechanic but I don't think that has anything to do with the battery and has more so to do with the starter. You can set the clock manually, it just doesn't take, bc of the bug. I agree with you about it being fun to drive, and they are the best looking TL's ever made. Congrats on finding a good car that was taken care of. My car was a one owner when I bought it and the interior and dashboard does not have one crack, which is a common complaint on these cars. It's in great condition and looks much newer than it is. Nobody will use that it's a 2008 haha great car
Dude that sucks. What a waste of $120. I know they do that to make it weigh more, but it makes no sense bc Fetty and Coke would be 2 different effects. This is a huge reason why I don't even consider buying coke or other drugs on the street. And I hate that when someone cops fo you they think it's ok to take a big rip of your expensive drugs. It's not weed. You're better off buddy. Just not worth the risk for fentanyl and you had a great idea to test it. Definitely are not your friends. I've been going to pain management for over 7 years and I'm finally over it. It's such a hassle for the small amount of opioids I am getting(I get 120 4mg Dilaudid per month). I have had to buy pills and fentanyl dope off the street and save my clean urine for drug screens all so I can get an amount of Dilaudid that now only lasts me 6 days! I'm switching over to a methadone clinic soon. Before you go to one I would research what they now cap you at(it is called the CDC guidelines for opioid prescribing) because once your tolerance reaches beyond that you'll be struggling every single month to make it and running out of your pills early. The only way pain management works long term is if you take long breaks in between use or you are a "chipper"( occasional user ). I hate pain management.
