No, he was Canadian of partial Russian ancestry. This guy I do not know. Russians commented that he tortured and killed the cat named Kuzya, in Novosibirsk, I think. They were so angry at him that he must have done something truly heinous.
They are still allowed to pray during workhours and will have their own room to do so. They’re not expected to give up religion, just to not display it to customers/clients.
I wouldn't mind if it was pride flags, but plenty of symbols can be subtle so where do you draw the line? I wear a plain black ring on my middle finger. It's a symbol of asexuality. But most people just think "Hey, a ring." Should that be banned? Obviously I wouldn't think so - but what if plain black rings are co-opted to mean something more offensive? Should they then be banned too?
